The actress relocated to Chicago in 2009 to attend The Second City Training Center for acting classes. Career in 2014, Tolman starred in the debut season of the FX Black comedy crime drama Fargo. Inspired by The 1996 Coen brothers' film with the same name, Fargo starred veteran actors Billy Bob Thornton, Martin Freeman as well as Bob Odenkirk.
